As Entergy Texas works to stay a “step ahead” of an anticipated surge in Southeast Texas’ power needs, customers likely will see their electricity bills rise. The company’s recently announced Southeast Texas Energy Plan, also known as STEP Ahead, is necessary to meet a 40% increase in power generation demand expected by 2028.
